Our client is a busy borough in South London which requires 2 degree qualified Town Planners to carry out roles within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload of mainly householder and minor planning applications, but will also include some more complex cases. You will also work on pre-applications and associated appeals.
Recent work experience is essential (and ideally you will have gained experience within London,) and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.
This will be a home working role but you will be required to carry out site visits.
The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but is expected to be a long term rolling contract and the rate will be between £24.00 - £26.00 per hour inside IR35 depending on your experience. Please get in touch for further information.
