Full Description

Our client has requirement to hire a Waste Contract Manager for at least 9 months. You will manage the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) service and contracts dealing with service issues, customer complaints, compliance issues, health and safety and contract management processes.

A key requirement of the role will be managing the street sweeping contract and you will work in conjunction with district and city council waste disposal services to ensure smooth operations. You will have responsibility for managing the re-procurement for this specific contract. You will carry out a service review and soft market testing and you will work with our client's procurement team to develop tender documentation and manage a tender process through to award and contract mobilisation stage.

To apply for this role you will need a proven track record managing waste services contracts. It is absolutely critical that you have previous contracts management experience and can show you have the ability to manage a complex procurement process. Any landfill contract management experience you posses would be an advantage.

The role is full time and based in Oxford. Once you are into the role, some flexible working will be available. The rate will be £325/day (umbrella).
