This role sits within our clients Development Management Team and will require you to take on a varied case load of householder and some minor applications. You will join a busy team and will therefore need to be able to pick up work from day one. Working within our clients agreed parameters you will provide technical input and advice and have responsibility to liaise with relevant stake holders to guide them through the planning process. It is essential that you are able to work quickly and confidently to provide useful information and to ensure service delivery is efficient and professional.
To apply for this role you will need a relevant town planning degree. You will need an excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation and it is essential that you have recent experience of working in a similar role with a local authorities planning department as you will be required to work from home. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and manage your workload to agreed deadlines.
The role is based in one of the most well known boroughs in North London and our client is looking for a quick start. This will initially be offered for 3 months but could be extended and rates are negotiable and will depend on experience but are expected to be up to £25/hr inside IR35.
