Our client is a Local Authority based in North London and they require a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload of planning applications - predominantly straightforward householder though there is also scope for progression to work on small major applications and commercial properties.
To apply you will need to have recent experience within a local authority development management team and ideally have worked within London. A good grasp of UK planning legislation is required and you will need to have good communication skills and a positive attitude towards furthering your knowledge and gaining more technical experience. The role is likely to suit someone looking to move after gaining some solid work experience and is feeling ready to take on more responsibility and career development. A relevant town planning degree is required.
The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but will be a rolling contract and the rate offered will be between £25 - £29 per hour umbrella depending on your experience. A full JD is available.
