Our client is a Local Authority based in the North West of the UK and they require a Planning Officer to join their Development Management Team ASAP. They are looking a Planning Officer who is capable of manging a varied caseload of minor and household planning applications. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is experienced with managing a large caseload of planning applications and has worked in a local authority setting recently.
To apply for these role you will need an excellent working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need good stakeholder engagement skills and an understanding of the context of planning policy on development projects. You must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to manage a large and varied caseload of applications.
Our client will pay around £30+/hr umbrella and the role is inside IR35. Depending on the candidates experience there is the possibility for negotiations around the rate. This will initially be offered as an 8 week contract. Please get in touch for further information
