Our client in the West Midlands has an urgent requirement to appoint a suitably qualified Environmental Health Officer or Trading Standards Officer to join a team focused on delivering a range of intelligence-led prevention and enforcement activities in respect of Covid-19 safety measures.
You will need to be able to drive and be happy to travel to sites across the district as and when required. The nature of the work means you will be working outside routine office hours so you will need to be flexible when it comes to working evenings and weekends. In most instances you will be working independently in line with our client's working guide lines and policies so you must be comfortable with this.
Most of the work, such as updating service records and submitting intelligence logs can be done from home but you must be able to undertake site visits as well.
This contract may pay up to £35 per hour for the right candidate. The hours are flexible, however a higher rate will mean reduced hours but our client can offer a contract that will see you until the end of August 2021.
