As a Tenancy Enforcement Officer will see you will be working to take appropriate early intervention or enforcement action to deal with breaches of tenancy and leasehold conditions including nuisance and anti-social behaviour occurring within housing services managed sites or the local neighbourhood. You will undertake investigations in conjunction with suspected tenancy breaches and you will provide advice guidance and information on self-help remedies to residents.
You will be required to prepare cases for enforcement action by, for example, gathering evidence, undertaking surveillance, obtaining statements from witnesses and liaising with relevant external agencies. You will be involved in joint operations with the police and other parties.
To carry out this role you need previous experience in a similar capacity. Good communication and negotiation skills are absolutely essential and you will need a good working knowledge of relevant housing and ASB legislation.
The role is based in South West London and will pay £23/hr.
