Our local authority client, based in East London have an exciting opportunity for those looking to work within Environmental Health.
They are looking to appoint an Business Support Admin Officer to help manage the work load for their enforcement team members. The enforcement team deal mainly with enviro crime, street scene, fly tipping and abandoned vehicles. On a day to day basis you will be the point of call for the team, you will help allocate the work for the day, be the office coordinator and help with tracing registered keepers etc.
Although no specific qualifications are required our client does need someone with admin experience. More than anything they need someone with a can do attitude, someone who is organised and reliable. They are able to offer an initial 3 month contract. There is a possibility of this role going perm but this would be very much dependant upon your performance. Rates for this role will start at £18 but please note that this is negotiable. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am until 4.30pm.
