You will be required to lead and manage a team responsible for investigating and enforcing a range of powers against members of the public and local businesses for committing environmental nuisance, primarily by issuing Fixed Penalty Notices.
You will assist the Enforcement Manager in prioritising work, and working to improve the service. On a daily basis you will carry out and lead on investigations into relevant street environmental crimes and deliver formal actions in accordance with the Council's Enforcement Policy.
You will need previous experience in a similar capacity, specifically the team leadership role and you will need a thorough knowledge of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Our client is Local Authority in North London. They will offer an initial contract of 3-6 months and pay £21-£25/hr (umbrella). You will be required to work a rota. 36 hours per week, including some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
