Excellent opportunity to secure a management role. You will be responsible for supervising an Area Planning Team, working to implement and deliver agreed team plans and performance targets.
You will undertake a key role as the Lead Officer for attending Planning Committee meetings and you will have a very active role in securing planning approvals. As the Team Leader you will lead on a range of technical issues and you will be willing to share your knowledge and contribute to the success of the team.
Alongside the technical aspect of the role you will be expected to lead on the team's training and professional development. You will strive to create a positive work environment and a strong team ethic that focuses on delivering a high level of customer service.
The role will carry budget management responsibility and you will have to be confident making decisions and steering the service.
This is an excellent role that requires a candidate with a good mix of technical planning knowledge of UK planning regs and proven team leadership skills.
Our client is offering a good rate, at least £56.90 per hour (umbrella). They are based in North London.
