Our client, based in Inner London, are looking for a Team Leader in the pollution team to ensure the provision of a responsive, outcome focused and cost effective Environmental Health Service with direct responsibility as Team Leader for delivering and improving The Council’s Noise and Pollution Service. The pollution service incorporates noise and statutory nuisances including but not limited to residential noise, construction, licensed premise noise, planning applications and contaminated land.
The post holder will be self-motivated and committed to lead and drive improvement, taking personal responsibility for ensuring the delivery of an effective Pollution service across the Council and the Borough there fore they are looking for a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner with track record of managing noise and pollution team. Knowledge in all or as many as possible of the following will put you in a strong position: pollution regulation, noise, statutory nuisances, environmental permitting, contaminated land, planning and licensing. It is also crucial your CV shows experience in people and performance management.
If successful you will be offered an initial 3 month contract (however this is very likely to be extended) paying £45-£55PH Umbrella however they are flexible with the rate for people who match all of the above.
