Our client based in North London is looking to appoint a Strategy Manager to lead the development of cross-cutting corporate strategy and policy within the Strategy team.
In this role you will be working on high-profile projects and policy development, often working directly to the senior leaders in the Council Management Team. You will also be leading a diverse range of projects, working closely with service area leads across the council to support the development of plans, strategies and policy documents.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to ..
- Lead on delivering high-profile corporate projects and the development and implementation of cross-cutting corporate policy.
- Lead on development of the council’s new corporate plan and other key strategic initiatives and corporate policies.
- Strengthening internal process for developing strategy, and where necessary devising improved procedures to ensure that policy development and decision-making is:
informed by meaningful stakeholder engagement
- Supporting the strategic and organisational change required to ensure the political aims of members are operationalised
This assignment is set for an initial period of 3 months, with a likely extension thereafter and the pay rate is £500/day umbrella.
