Osborne Richardson has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interim Strategic Lead, Development Services to join our Local Authority client in Essex.
This is a Head of Service position which will cover Local Plan, Place and Design, Cross Border Planning, Highways DM and LLFA. You will need to have extensive experience of leading a Council through the Local Plan process to a successful outcome. You will also have transformation experience and will be able to work closely with the Assistant Director in leading the division through a significant period of change.
Applicants for this position must have significant experience of leading Planning teams in the public sector and in shaping and implementing development management policies to create places that improve people’s lives . This experience must be clearly demonstrated on your CV.
The rate offered is £730/day Umbrella and this role is inside IR35.
This contract will initially be offered for 3 months, but is expected to be a rolling contract which will run for at least a year.
This is a hybrid role which will require you to be in the office 3 times a week. There are excellent links from London to our Clients offices.
