Osborne Richardson has an excellent opportunity for an Interim Strategic Head of Asset Management to join one of our London Local Authority clients.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations you will take responsibility for the delivery of an asset management strategy for our clients property portfolio, owned by both the general fund and housing revenue account. You will lead a programme management team of managers consisting of the Housing Programme Manager, Asset Manager (Housing), Health and Safety Compliance Manager (Housing) and the Asset Strategy and Portfolio Manager (Corporate Property).
You will be responsible for the Programme Management team maintaining our clients current housing stock to the required minimum standard as set out by the government required standard and in line with Council's objectives. You will also have management of key internal stakeholders, to include, finance, property services and neighbourhoods as well as key external stakeholders to include local authorities, government bodies, TSA, HCA, HSE and consultants.
To be considered for this role it is essential you have recently held a similar position with another UK Local Authority within the last couple of years. It is also essential that you have recent Housing sector experience within planned maintenance arena and experience of planned works and large scale projects within housing sector
You must have formal training in building surveying/technology/construction or related discipline at Degree level. A chartered membership RICS would be beneficial as would a Prince 2 qualification.
This role is offering £550/day (this role is inside IR35) and it will initially be offered for 12 week but could potentially be extended and the team are working from home though site visits may be required.
