Our client based in London are looking to appoint at least 2 Pollution Control Environmental Health Officer / Technical Officers who is able to deal with the range of issues they investigate including Statutory nuisance investigation, noise monitoring and enforcement. You will also be asked to deal with Drainage investigations and enforcement. One post is within the noise team and the other for the stat nuisance technical team. The noise role may require some out of hours work as well.
To be successful in the role is it is very important that you have experience doing this role, for another Council for at least 2 years. The position would not suit a recently qualified EHO or someone who has no experience in Environmental protection as they are quite busy and need people who have experience and can hit the ground running.
Both contracts will run for an initial three months. Rates for the noise role start at £23 and for the stat nuisance position £33. Both rates may be negotiable so if you are interested please do let us know your current rate expectation and we are more than happy to submit based on this.
