As a Senior Planning Officer you will lead on more complex applications with responsibility to manage your own caseload and be a main point of contract for working with developers. Our client is keen to give people the chance to take on roles with a high level of responsibility and you will be expected to show enthusiasm towards further development of your own skills.
The successful candidate in this role will be an established DM Planner who has worked in London previously and understands the unique challenges faced with inner city development. Ideally you will be RTPI accredited but it is not essential and if you are working towards this then you will be fully supported. An appropriate degree level qualification is required.
The role is based in South / Central London, will be offered on a 35 hour week contract and the rate will be around £28-£33/hr umbrella (negotiable). The initial contract will run until the end of Feb 2020 but this particular client has an extensive work programme so it is highly likely to be extended.
