Our client is a Local Authority based in East London and they are currently experiencing a particularly busy period within their Building Control Team. To help assist with their busy workload they would like to appoint a Senior Technical Support Officer to work as part of a team responsible for providing Technical support functions associated with the delivery of the service area functions.
Your role will be to provide support with administrative functions and use your knowledge of planning/building control legislation in relation to the application of administrative processes and best practice. You will be required to ensure quality and efficiency of validations and business support functionality in line with best working practice and statutory requirements. You will be responsible for validating building regulations applications, initial notices, amendments and cancellation notices, including dangerous Structure notices, and related fee calculations and consultations
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 2 years of experience of working within a similar role within a Building Control Team for the Local Authority.
The role will be offered for 12 months and they offer 36hrs per week.
The rate offered is £25.40/hr Umbrella and this role is inside IR35. Our client offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office.
