Our client is a diverse and vibrant London borough and they are looking to appoint a Senior Section 106 Officer to assist them in manging and monitoring Planning Obligations from Section 106 Agreements. They have a very busy programme so they will need you to be competent in this area of work and able to hit the ground running. Working in their Planning and Transport Division you will be responsible for writing delegated reports assessing S106 compliance, investigating potential breaches of S106 covenants and other matters to deliver infrastructure across the borough. You may also support the process of allocating S106 funds.
To carry out this role successfully, previous experience in a similar role or substantial experience in planning or property is required alongside a relevant town planning related degree. You will have a proven track record of working independently on a full range of S106 Agreement work including responsibility for high profile planning applications, working to tight deadlines in a manner that is consistent with meeting corporate targets and objectives and that requires minimal input or correction from the Principal Officers.
This role will be based in South West London and it will initially be offered as a 3 month contract but it is expected to be a 3 month rolling contract. Our client is offering between £27-£30p/hr for this position. A full job spec is available at application stage.
