Our client, based in East London are looking for a Senior Public Health Specialist to work 3 days a week within a team of public health staff to support the Director of Public Health to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in the Council. They will act in a supporting role for specified areas of public health to plan, deliver and evaluate public health initiatives. They will be expected to be able to work across all domains of public health as and when required to do so and with additional training and support if necessary. The post holder may be required to change topics or work across portfolio areas in line with the needs of the business whilst maintaining generic public health skills as necessary.
If successful you will be Working with the Principal Public Health Specialist and Consultants in Public Health to commission, implement and deliver public health programmes and projects, therefore it is very important your CV shows recent experience in these fields and you assist the Council at this difficult time. It is also you have proven experience of building positive relationships with a range of both internal and external stakeholders, understanding political drivers and the role of members.
If successful you will be offered an initial 3 month contract paying £246.50 per day for 3 days week but we are happy to submit CV's with rates attached.
