Senior Public Health Officer (information Analyst)

Our client in the South East is looking to appoint a Public Health Specialist to join the team there. This is a joint post to work across four local authorities, whereby the post holder will work closely with the local authorities, public health intelligence team and the borough's Population Health Management Collaborative to provide population health evidence and intelligence for the areas.

The Post holder will be an enthusiastic individual, educated to postgraduate degree level or with equivalent experience of using health-related data and information systems. Experienced in statistical and epidemiological methodologies, the role will lead, support, promote and develop high quality, specialist, public health intelligence and insight on the full range of data and information on population health management from internal and external sources. You will be able to build effective relationships with colleagues and partners, be highly numerate with data analysis, report writing, and project support skills, and have a sound knowledge of Excel and other packages.

The role will be 3 months to start with but this will likely carry on to 6 months and even beyond. The rate on offer is £400 - £450/day umbrella.
