Our client is a Local Authority in Somerset, and they require 2 experienced Town Planners to join them for contract roles.
You will be required to take on a large and varied caseload of minor and/or small major planning applications. The focus will be on clear and concise decision-making and the ability to clear high volume of cases.
To apply for this role you will need to be a degree qualified Town Planner with a strong development management background. You will need to be comfortable managing your own caseload and have extensive experience of working on a large caseload of applications within a Local Planning Authority.
Our client is offering £42 p/h Umbrella (this role is inside IR35), and this contract is for 37 hours per week. Our client offers a hybrid working arrangement, and this is a 6 month contract, though there could be potential for an extension due to our clients workloads.
