Our client is a local authority in SE London who have a very active capital projects programme. They are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager for a minimum 6 month period but this is very likely to extend given the work schedule - we have previously placed people who have been in post much longer.
You will be accountable for the successful development and delivery of programmes to agreed time, cost and quality with a focus on delivery of new Local Authority New Build (LANB) Council housing. The schemes you will supervise are those of higher value and complexity so we are looking for an accomplished PM.
You will not necessarily have any direct reports but you will be expected to lead the project team to ensure successful procurement and delivery of each programme of works and you will need to be able to lead on ensuring high quality collaborative working with all stakeholders and suppliers.
Rates are negotiable for this role but previously we have seen rates in excess of £450/day (inside IR35) so please let us know your expectation and we would be happy to discuss this with the client.
