Our client based in the South East of England requires a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Policy Team. They require a candidate with significant Local Plan experience within a local authority setting.
Working in a busy department, you will assist in the preparation and implementation of the Local Plan and related planning policy work streams. You will be expected to take responsibility for specific policy areas, including monitoring, review and research. Recent experience in a policy planning role writing strategy and policy documents is essential and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date.
This role will be offered for an initial 6 month period but could potentially be extended beyond this. The rate offered will depend on your experience But is expected to be between £30-£35/hr and this role is inside IR35. This will be a home working role.
