Our client is a Local Authority based in the South East of the UK and they require a DM Planning Officer to join them ASAP. They are looking a Planning Officer who is capable of manging a caseload of minor and major planning applications. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is experienced with managing a large caseload of planning applications and has worked in a local authority.
To apply for these role you will need an excellent working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need good stakeholder engagement skills and an understanding of the context of planning policy on development projects. You must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to manage a large and varied caseload of applications.
Our client will pay around £25 - £30p/hr depending on the candidates experience this will initially be offered as a 6 month contract. I do have a job spec available so please get in contact for more information.
