Our client is looking for a Senior Planner to join their majors team with potential for a long contract.
They are an extremely busy team, working hard to manage their caseload of applications. They need someone who can take on major projects work and work efficiently to provide assessment, advise and to process in line with targets. They need someone who can work under minimal supervision. You may be asked to assist with some minors work as and when required.
We need an established Senior Planning Officer with experience in a Local Authority DM team. You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record in managing a high caseload and you will need to be confident managing more complex applications with multiple stakeholders and considerations. Whilst you will work relatively unsupervised you will still need to be prepared to support other members of the team when needed.
The role will offer remote working and you may only go into the office once every couple of weeks. You will need to be prepared to for site visits though so ideally you will be in close proximity to the area; our client is in Kent.
They are offering a market leading rate which is reflective of the calibre of candidate they are seeking. The rate is £50/hr (umbrella).
