This is an excellent opportunity to work right in the heart of London and work on an extremely diverse caseload of planning applications. Opportunities with this particular Council don’t come up very often and when they do they are excellent contracts that offer longevity and career progression.
Our client needs someone with enough experience to manage a caseload of complex planning applications including applications for major developments. In addition to processing applications, you will be required to deal with paid pre-application requests and appeals.
You will have a high level of responsibility and you will be given the opportunity to supervise and mentor career grade planners if you are interested in developing your career.
We are looking for those with a good level of technical knowledge of UK planning regulations and ideally you will have previous experience within London and an appreciation of the planning challenges of inner city development. Experience of working with M3 Northgate is desirable but not essential.
The role will last at least 6 months and will pay a minimum of £35/hr.
