Our client, based in East London are looking to appoint an experienced Licensing Enforcement Officer to their team ASAP. The role will require you to review licence applications under the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, and licences covering Special Treatments activities, Animal Welfare Licences and others. In addition the senior role would oversee complex cases, present at licensing committee hearing and assisting in preparing policy and procedures.
In order to be considered, you require experience of working in enforcement or investigative environment, especially on licensing or related areas. You must have proven experience of investigative processes including interviewing under caution, preparing case report and attending Court.
This contract will run until October 2024 and will pay from £40 per hour. Hybrid working is available but you must be able to attend the borough at least once a week.
