Our client in East London is looking to appoint a Senior Intelligence and Analysis Officer. The post holder will have a senior role in the Performance and Intelligence Unit and will be responsible for leading on complex data analysis and playing a pivotal role in ensuring that the commissioning of care and support services is robustly needs-led.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To lead on turning data into meaningful local information, enhancing intelligence capacity to enable the Council to become needs-led in the development and commissioning of Care and Support services, including Public Health. 2. Lead on the collection of information from a variety of sources, including other departments, local databases and by means of specific requests and through the electronic transfer of data from partners. 3. Analyse and interpret data in order to optimise services for residents and undertake research and data analysis, which will lead to improvements/change in service performance across Public Health and Care and Support. 4. Develop and undertake qualitative and quantitative research projects to support the continuous rollout of a programme of population needs assessments. 5. Ensure that needs assessments, statistical analyses and qualitative and quantitative research findings are interpreted appropriately and work closely with commissioners to ensure that commissioning strategies are shaped around the findings from needs assessments. 6. To lead on the comprehensive evaluation of departmental, local and national projects, initiatives, surveys and information reporting findings and recommendations to senior management.
This role has a 6 month contract and the pay rate is £24-£28/hour
