Our local authority client, based in East London have an exciting opportunity for those looking for a long term contract. You will undertake an important role in the maintenance of the council’s standards on environmental protection covering noise pollution, light pollution and odour and provide a major contribution to the prevention and resolution of pollution related issues/problems. You will achieve this by advising residents, businesses and others in the borough on everyday commercial related pollution nuisance but also more complex pollution particularly noise nuisance related issues generally.
In order to be considered it is essential that you hold an appropriate Environmental Health Registration Board approved academic qualification - in, an MSc, BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent qualification. Post Qualification experience of Noise Work. You must have experience of advising business, consumers and other service users of the criminal and civil law relating to environmental protection in terms of noise, odour and light pollution.
This is a full time post starting in May and pay rates will be from £40 per hour Umbrella.
