Our local authority client, based in Bedfordshire are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Housing Enforcement Officer who is able to enforce Financial Penalty Notices (Housing 2004) and preparing legal casefiles as well as giving expert witness testimony and have the ability to support more junior officers. You will also help progress the Housing Services’ delivery of the Housing Assistance programme, and associated schemes, including face to face interactions with a range of customers and providing expert advice. You will be expected to assist the Head of Housing Solutions with expert knowledge, applying your experience to lead and manage staff in delivering and developing specialised services. Duties will also include complex case work and advise EH practitioners/Technical Officers on complex cases and HMO’s.
This role requires someone who has a minimum of 5 years experience within this field. It would be advantageous if you also have experience working to a more Senior level within this field. You must hold the HHSRS Certificate and it would be desirable if you are EHORB registered.
Our client is willing to pay up to £40 per hour and the contract will run for an initial 3 months.
