Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Economic Development Specialist to join a local authority in Gloucestershire for a contract role which will run for 12 months.
You will support the development of an Economic Recovery Strategy and Action Plan for the district and co-ordinate and lead specific initiatives to support economic recovery from Covid-19 and longer term renewal.
You will formulate an economic recovery and renewal strategy and action plan for the district, engaging and working collaboratively with our Strategic Leadership Team, Elected Members, other recovery work-stream leads, key partners, the business community, market towns and wider community.
You will set clear objectives and ensure resources are available in order to drive the delivery of this ambitious recovery strategy.
Applicants for this position must have significant experience of economic development initiatives, strong experience of engaging local businesses and LEP's, of working with partner organisations and of project delivery. They must also have string experience of working on regeneration projects and be experienced with working within enterprise zones.
