Excellent opportunity to secure a role working for a London Borough council. You will provide management of a very active regen and development programme, having responsibility for end to end programme, commercial and risk management.
You will required to deliver at least one strategic project and be responsible for the progression of design and strategy in order to allow the Council to approve a delivery strategy, including the option of a third party delivery partner.
Our client needs a strong development professional who is used to working with mixed tenure and mixed use financial appraisals – excel based. Our client uses PodPlan. Although the main focus will be options appraisals for a specific project working with multiple clients, they also have some mixed tenure housing projects that need to be driven forward.
Experience of working in w local authority environment in terms of governance and procurement is also helpful.
We need someone with an accomplished background in project delivery on major regen development schemes. Ideally you will have experience in central London and acute knowledge of the unique challenges of inner city development. Experience of working in a local authority environment in terms of governance and procurement would be beneficial. Good negotiation skills are absolutely critical and we would expect an appropriate level of academic and professional qualifications for the nature of the role.
The contract will initially be offered for 6 months but given the workload there is potential for this to be extended.
The rate is £500/day (inside IR35), and our client offers hybrid working.
