Osborne Richardson have an excellent role with a Local Authority in the Wiltshire, which is seeking a Senior Planning Conservation Officer to take responsibility for the providing specialist advice on conservation and urban design matters relating to planning applications and to help guide new developments in the borough.
Our client needs an officer with proven technical experience of working with listed buildings to work alongside them and provide expert advice and guidance. You will be assist in providing expert heritage/conservation advice to Planning Officers, Councillors and the public on planning and listed building applications and similar pre application inquiries.
Applicants for this post must have a post grad qualification in Town Planning and relevant post qualification experience in a planning environment of which a significant element relates to conservation. You must also have recent experience of having held a similar role with a UK local authority.
The role is a contract post which will initially be offered for 3 months, but could be extended.
The rate offered is up to £35/hr umbrella and this role is inside IR35.
