Our local authority client, based in South East London are looking to appoint 2 experienced Environmental Health Food Officers to their team. One position is for a Senior EHO and the other requirement is for a Principle EHO.
Senior EHO requirements are for an experienced food safety officer to carry out a range of inspections in food premises.
Principle EHO requirements are for qualified experienced lead food officer to monitor a team of food safety officers and assess and prepare documents required under the food law code of practice. You will also deal with complex issues relating to food safety and health and safety and provide advice and support to team members as required.
Both roles will require you to hold the Environmental Health degree. For the Senior position you must hold either the EHORB certificate or Higher Food certificate. For the Principle position you must be EHORB certified. Both roles will require you to hold at least 20 hours of CPDs covering the last 2 years and have completed the Competency Framework.
Both contracts are due to start towards the end of July and will continue into January 2023. Pay rate for Senior will be between £40/£45 and for Principle £50 P/H. Please note that should you be interested but require a different rate we are more than happy to negotiate on your behalf.
