This is a critical role to work in support of our client's emergency response to the current situation around Covid-19. As a Resilience Officer, depending upon your particular skill set you will be assigned to tasks that will work to ensure our Local Authority client can deliver an effective response service to any service requests above and beyond their usual remit. Their key objective is to maintain key operational assets required for business resilience and emergency planning functions.
You will help support key governance and partnership arrangements for the organisational resilience unit by engaging in tasks such as auditing business continuity plans, ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of all kinds of incidents and accidents and escalation to the appropriate officers for follow-up and participating in the 24/7 Duty Emergency Planning Officer rota.
The role is likely to suit someone with experience from an environmental health background who has been involved with major incident previously, particularly anything public health related. Anyone who has operated as part of a local authority emergency planning team would be ideal for this role. It is absolutely essential that you an work well under pressure and be prepared to use your skills wherever they are required.
The role is based in North London and will pay £200/day (umbrella). Full JD available on application.
