As a Residential Investigation and Enforcement Officer you will work in support of the Environmental Health team tackling housing issues across the Borough.
You will focus on gathering and processing vital information that will be used to investigate complaints against landlords. You will be required to maintain data sets including property information, contact details and case notes. You will help compile intelligence reports that will inform future action to be taken by the Council.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in this field of work. We do not necessarily need those with technical qualifications in environmental health. Any experience in a fraud related role would be an advantage. Ideally you will have a basic working knowledge of PACE, RIPA and associated codes of practice and guidance. Good IT skills are essential and you will need high level admin skills.
