Our client is a local authority in North West England which is undergoing a significant amount of growth and change and they are seeking a Regeneration Project Manager to join their Economic and Housing Growth Team for a contract position. You will work on a number of regeneration projects including master-planning, town centre regeneration, housing growth, funding and bid writing. You will assist with the conception, implementation, project management and delivery of projects within this programme of work. You may also be involved with commissioning and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams to support project development and implementation.
To apply you will need to hold a relevant planning/surveying related qualification and a proven track record in delivering major regen projects. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will a strong knowledge and knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration. You will be able to illustrate extensive project management capability including managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects. You will also have an extensive record of successful collaboration, liaison, influencing, negotiation and communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
The role will initially be offered for 6 months and the rate offered is £350 p/day umbrella (this role is inside IR35). Full JD available on application.
