Our client is a local authority based in East London who is seeking an experienced Regeneration Co-ordinator to assist in the efficient delivery of a programme of work in line with the Council's growth objectives. You'll be based in the Housing Regeneration Team and will report to the Housing Regeneration Manager, work alongside a Client Co-ordinator and Regeneration Co-ordinator and be supported by Regeneration Officers.
You will work in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders (particularly the Capital Delivery Team) to develop housing in-fill and regeneration projects and use your expertise to progress a range of projects for new social housing, particularly in the earlier stages of project scoping / inception; viability / feasibility testing; commissioning and review of design and master-planning.
Applicants for this post should be degree educated and have proven experience in project managing the delivery of housing regeneration projects, including working with developers and the local community. Good knowledge of housing design and land use in a regeneration context is also required and candidates must have good experience of complex housing programme management and monitoring. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members.
The role will initially be offered for 6 months (likely to be extended) and the rate will be £34/hr (inside IR35). Full JD available on application.
