Excellent opportunity for a Regen PM to manage a major project. The scheme is a £75m mixed development consisting of a brand new cinema led arts centre, multi-story car park, residential, commercial and public realm space.
Phase 1 is due for completion mid June (the car park) and a delivery partner is on board so you will join at a critical time as the project looks to move forward. You will be responsible for managing delivery of the scheme through to completion, working in collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure it is delivered on time and within budget.
The key responsibilities of the role will include client side management, contract management of the delivery partners and leading on negotiations and managing the project in line with agreed deadlines.
Given the scale of the project we are looking for an accomplished Project Manager with a proven track record in managing Local Authority capital regen projects. You will need high level negotiation skills and you will need to be a confident decision maker. At this level we would expect an appropriate professional qualification.
The client is offering a fantastic rate of £630/day which is reflective of the level of experience the role requires. The initial contract will be 3-6 months but given the nature of the project, it is likely to extend way beyond this.
