The division work on delivering a range of projects, from large scale new build commercial schemes to much smaller education and healthcare refurbishments - contract values are 2-90m. In this role your core responsibilities will be: " Manage the construction process and costs with the design team, client and internal teams " Create all relevant budgets and communicate cost advice " Advise on the contract arrangements/conditions for each scheme " Work closely with the design team and advise on the cost implications of different construction methods, materials etc " Prepare tendering documents, manage and evaluate tenders including any Value Engineering " Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts This is a client facing role and due to its nature requires an individual with leadership qualities.
