Our client, based in East London are looking for a manager who is passionate about air quality and climate change The post is to lead on air quality and implement and review our Air Quality Action Plan/Climate Change Agenda in the Local Authority. This involves project management , excellent IT skills, high level written and verbal communication skills, experience of working with elected Members and Senior managers is essential, along with extensive knowledge of air quality and climate change.
You will also be a confident at presenting information to a wide variety of audiences either via MS Teams or in person.
The role is based remotely working from home, but some site visits and meetings will be done face to face. You will work with a variety of stakeholders such as the GLA , internal Council departments, other Local Authorities schools and businesses.
