Our client in South London is looking to appoint a Public Health Programme Officer to join the team there. The role will involve working with other members of the Public Health Division, wider council and NHS, in the provision of health protection support, health needs assessments, programme improvement and guidance development. The post holder will be accountable to one of the Public Health Head of Programmes.
You must have excellent communication partnership, analytical and report writing skills. You will be highly organised and be comfortable working within a reactive environment. Working in a fast paced complex political, outcomes oriented and frequently challenging environment, the focus is on the delivery and management of multiple programmes and projects to high expectations within tight timescales. A strong commitment to addressing the wider determinants of health and to tackle health inequalities is expected. These posts will also be involved with community engagement projects, including with BAME, homeless and marginalised groups.
This assignment is due to last a minimum of 3 months, with a likely extension thereafter. The pay rate for this role is £400/day umbrella. If you are interested in this role and believe that you have the relevant experience then please get in touch.
