Our client is undertaking a project to identify health and social care inequalities from a Race, Age and Gender lens and require a Public Health Intelligence Analyst to join for a minimum 6 month period. The work has four phases and you will be joining at 'Phase 2' which will include a literature review, covid-19 hospital data analysis and the analysis of the covid-19 risk factors at a population level.
The key function of your role will be to carry out data analysis to further explore equality challenges to help identify any inequalities including access to services and gaps in service provision. You will be expected to put forward practical recommendations to address the gaps for taking action.
To be considered for this role you will need a good understanding of how local authority health and social care systems work and you will need a solid background in managing complex data sets. You will need to be able to draw conclusions with a clear narrative and develop templates on various intelligence soft wares.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a key project at the forefront of current local authority public health work. The role will pay £350 - £400/day (umbrella). Our client is based in East London and can offer home working but you may need to be able to go to the office on occasion.
