Our Client, based in East London is looking to appoint a Public Health Data Manager to join their team there. In this role you will be working in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Web, you will use your technical expertise to create databases, establish data flows and build dashboards to include some of the key public health statistics.
The postholder will play an active role throughout the process: from cleaning and preparing the data to providing insights through visualisations. This work will inform decision making, communications, policy, and commissioning.
Main areas of responsibilities
1. Build a Public Health Tableau database and automate data flows.
2. Create dynamic visualisations and dashboards.
3. Develop sound data administrative processes around health intelligence
services and systems and the implementation of these for the borough.
4. Be a resource for data reparation, and trouble-shooting, utilising
spreadsheets, maps and analytical tools across a wide range of datasets
5. Contribute to reports and updates which will be used by others in the
development of policies and services to meet the organisation’s priorities,
leading on behalf of information and intelligence.
6. To act as a lead specialist, involving an element of teaching and training, as
well as providing advice.
This assignment will be 3-6 months and the pay rate will be £30-£35/hour umbrella
