Our client in East London is looking to appoint a Public Health Consultant to join their team. The postholder will be a registered public health specialist and will work within the specialist Public Health Service to promote and protect the health of the populations of the local borough. As a member of the Public Health Senior Management Team the postholder will be responsible for the successful delivery of corporate and public health strategic objectives. The postholder will be expected to provide effective leadership and management that will contribute to the continuous service improvement within both organisations.
This is a senior public health post with a high level of responsibility. The postholder will take responsibility for delivering specific strategic objectives of both organisations and act as a change agent to enable delivery of relevant outcome indicators from the Public Health, NHS and social care outcomes frameworks. The postholder will hold direct managerial responsibility for services and budgets which directly contribute to these objectives but will be expected to have strategic influence across both organisations and other agencies in pursuit of public health gain.
In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you are GMC or UKPHR registered and you must meet minimum requirements in accordance with Faculty of Public Health requirements or other recognised body.
This role is based in East London and will run for an initial 3 months. The pay rate is £70 - £75/hour and the client is looking for start date to be ASAP.
