Excellent opportunity to take on a fairly unique role in our clients Private Sector Housing Team. As a Property Licensing Coordinator you will help coordinate the general activity of the team as well as work on specific service improvement projects.

Our client is currently looking at the possibility of introducing an additional property licensing scheme for smaller HMOs in the borough and you will be heavily involved in work around this project. You will lead in the design and implementation of a public consultation working to ensure the process is transparent and legal. You will lead the assessment and role out of new IT solutions and you will assist in training staff on new processes.

The role would suit an established Environmental Health / Private Sector Housing Officer who is looking for a role outside the usual scope where you can share your knowledge whilst taking on some project responsibility without necessarily being involved with direct line management of staff.

You will need to have good project management skills with a methodical, process driven approach to you work. Our client needs those with a strong knowledge of HMO licensing and a full appreciation of the legal aspects involved. Good communication skills are absolutely critical and you will need to be confident working under minimal supervision and taking ownership of your own work stream.

The role is based with a local authority client in West London, will run for at least 6 months and pay around £35-£40/hr (umbrella).
