Property Accountant £45-50,000 + bonus London, West End
An extremely dynamic and opportunistic property company are looking to recruit an Property Accountant. The business owns a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail assets including some interesting and iconic London landmarks. Each asset is incorporated as its own entity and this role will require you to manage the accounts for each.
Responsibilities include:
" Inter-company reconciliation " Preparation of quarterly management reporting " Monthly bank reconciliation and quarterly audit schedules " Ensuring timely preparation of full set of financial statements for audit " Handling tax matters (such as VAT and corporate/income tax) " Budgeting and forecasting cashflows using excel " Providing financial project management support for asset management initiatives and development projects " Quarterly VAT returns " Uploading of invoices to bank accounts ready for authorization
Suitable candidates will have 3+ years experience of working as an accountant within the UK property industry, ideally having worked for a developer/property company previously. This role is a stand alone role as the corporate accounting and property management accounting are outsourced. You will become part of a small and very talented team of property professionals. The right person will want to work in a streamlined opportunistic business and be flexible/adaptable.
