Our client is a Local Authority based in South London and they require a Town Planning Policy Officer (Project Officer) to carry out a role within their Planning and Strategic Transport division. Our client has one of the biggest growth agendas in London as outlined in the London Plan, and while they already have an up to date Local Plan you will support its review taking account this growth. You will be required to assist with consultations and you will have responsibility for specific topic areas. You will also assist in providing planning policy advice to the determination of planning applications and contribute to other regeneration projects.
To apply for this role you will need previous experience within a UK local authority planning policy department. You will need to have excellent up to date knowledge of UK planning guidelines and relevant legislation and an appropriate level of qualification expected to undertake a role of this nature.
