Full Description

Our client is a local authority in the North West of England and they require a Project Officer to join them for a contract role and assist them with a prominent Regeneration focused programme of work. Taking the lead on the delivery of a number of our clients major infrastructure and regeneration projects you will be required to prepare, assess and review project documentation to test the feasibility and design of project plans, ensuring that they meet the standards, practices and legislation within the given specialist area. You will also monitor, review and manage the implementation of projects, including the financial management of both internal and external resources.

For this role you will be required to manage a large and demanding workload and applicants for this post should be degree educated in either Surveying or Planning. You must have proven experience in project managing the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects and of providing specialist advice to a range of parties. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation and you will have a strong knowledge of legislation and regulations pertaining to Regeneration.
