Our client is a local authority in the Herefordshire and they are looking to appoint a Project Manager for a 4 month contract on a part time basis to lead on a housing development/build project.
You will be accountable for the successful management and delivery of a programme of major housing Capital and improvement projects. You will lead on these from identification through to completion, which will include the development, planning, briefing, co-ordination, monitoring and control, usually within a 'partnering' relationship, so as to secure effective outcomes which meet our clients objectives.
You will be responsible for ensuring these projects are delivered to the agreed time, cost and quality. The schemes you will supervise are those of higher value and complexity so we are looking for an accomplished PM.
It is essential that you have recently worked as a Project Manager/Programme Manager on a Capital Projects Programme for a UK local authority. You must have technical appraisal experience of potential development site(s) and specialist cost advice experience (Quantity Surveyor qualified or similar). Our client requires this hire to have 10 years plus experience of housing development and house building gained in the industry in private and public sector. They also need this person to have experience of building to a Passivhaus and or Net Carbon Zero standard
The rate offered for this role is £390/day (inside IR35) and they are looking for someone who can start at short notice. Currently the work content for the role would be 1 or 2 days per week but would flex depending on workload.
